A Wellness Ecosystem
Rooted in Culture
& Compassion.

We empower everyday people with the tools to navigate pain, rebuild relationships, and create healing legacies within their homes and communities.

What We Believe

At Your Healing Matters, we believe healing is not a luxury; it’s a birthright.

It should feel safe, reflect who you are, and meet you where you are.

We exist to remind individuals and families that restoration is possible, and it starts with being seen.

Healing Is a Design, Not a Reaction

We don’t wait for the breakdown to begin the breakthrough. We build intentional systems that nurture peace, restore balance, and prevent trauma from taking root.

Culture Is the Container for Care

We honor your roots by embedding cultural identity, lived experience, and generational wisdom into every offering because healing must feel familiar, not foreign.

Community Is the Catalyst

No one heals alone. We create safe, communal spaces where stories are shared, resilience is built, and connection becomes the foundation for long-term healing.

Restoration Is a Cycle, Not a Step

Healing isn’t a one-time moment it’s a rhythm. We walk with you through every season, from grief to joy, guiding you back to wholeness again and again.

Who We Are

Your Healing Matters is a trauma-intentional healing ecosystem rooted in culture, compassion, and community care. We create safe, affirming spaces for families, birthmothers, men, and individuals to reclaim their stories and restore emotional, spiritual, and relational balance. Whether you’re rebuilding trust or navigating grief, we meet you where you are and walk with you the rest of the way.

Founded by Sharonda Duncan, this movement is guided by lived experience, cultural wisdom, and a deep belief: your healing truly matters. We don’t offer quick fixes, we build lifelong tools for transformation. Our programs center identity, story, and safe connection as the foundation for change. This is a place where silence breaks, restoration begins, and wholeness is reclaimed.

Our Approach to Healing

True healing touches every part of your life. That’s why we focus on restoring the whole person: emotionally, relationally, and physically. Our programs are built to meet you where you are, rooted in culture, community, and compassion. Whether you’re rebuilding after trauma, seeking deeper family connection, or simply learning how to care for yourself better, we walk with you every step of the way.

Emotional Restoration

We support individuals and families in processing grief, trauma, and emotional disconnection by creating space for release, reflection, and recovery. Through intentional programming and culturally rooted tools, we help you break cycles, reclaim your story, and move toward lasting peace.

Family & Community Healing

Whether you’re a birthmother navigating post-placement grief, a father relearning emotional expression, or a co-parent trying to reconnect, we provide tools that help entire households heal. Our circles, workshops, and restoration hubs build connection, repair trust, and create new patterns of love and accountability.

Whole-Person Wellness

Healing includes how you eat, how you breathe, how you move, and how you rest. Our approach integrates food, fitness, emotional regulation, and cultural identity to strengthen the mind, body, and spirit. We don’t separate health from healing. We help you align it all.
